Pro

I will allow my opponent to make a case first.

Clarification:
-"Meaning" means purpose. http://dictionary.reference.com...

I await my opponent's case.
moe_511

Con

the meaning of life is to rise against evil with your life and not to keep you mouth shut on what is wrong. you should not just go on living and trying to make money... we have to be revolutionists like all prophets

Pro

My opponent perhaps does not understand that he is CON, or against the resolution.

Because he has argued that the meaning of life is something besides reproduction, he has conceded.

For the sake of argument though, I will still present a case:
The purpose of life cannot be to make more life, just as the purpose of government cannot be to make government bigger and the purpose of UPS cannot be to make more companies. Further, the purpose of ants is not to make more ants, but their entire biological niche.

The resolution is logical fallacy. Vote PRO.
moe_511

Con

adding to what I said before it is to reproduce and survive ... so our children can rise against wrong doing in the future

"That's an argument by analogy, and completely fails to prove anything. Why can the purpose of government not be to make government bigger?"

Because it's self-contradictory. While government must make sure it exists, that is not its purpose. It exists for the protection of people and their rights. It does not exist to be bigger.

I don't believe the CON even understands what side he should be debating...

Actually, he just lacked a structured argument. That was all.

IDK. He is a nub.

Perhaps he though he was PRO.

How are you supposed to fight a resolution against the meaning of life being reproduction without mentioning reproduciton?
