Everyone wants to feel beautiful! But in today's society, it is hard for us to feel good about how we look. The media portrays that only the tall and skinny are beautiful. We seen in magazines and on TV and on the runway girls who are extremely skinny, and we are told that that's what we have to look like to be beautiful. Why should we be told that to be beautiful we have to look like those people in magazines and on TV and on the runway?
Presenting images of healthy, well-fit individuals gives us all something to aspire to. One of the leading problems in today's society is obesity. The media gives us various ways we can become like these models in magazines, making it possible to achieve the fit image they portray. The media puts such an emphasis on body image in order to create a society where obesity disappears. Why shouldn't we all aspire to have a healthy, toned body?
