If the politicians in Washington can't even agree on what to spend our tax money on then why is it a good idea to give them more money.

May i ask you do you know why they can't decide? it is because there are so many good uses they could put it to Decreasing poverty, helping the police force,Making people aware of new laws and paying back debt to name a few the truth is that a country can't survive without taxes they just can't And in times like these when wars are going on the u.s needs taxes or else they couldn't afford to pay the army and also these taxes are split so thin right now places that really need it can't get enough money here is a pie chart on how taxes were spread in 2011

http://farm6.static.flickr.com...
notice that there is only 1% going to communitys and this is what will happen if taxes are raised https://www.google.co.nz...

notice the extra 4% going to funding communities this is only possible through raised taxes if taxes are raised it will be better for everyone and in the long run all the money goes back to you're wellfare as all of that is to help the countrie whos money it is it may not seem like it but taxing well is what makes a country good

First off the pro never presented an opening argument and went right after the con which is highly unprofessional, secondly the con provides unreliable evidence in the source of a pie chart without any background, he then uses the information to make a claim that funding is going towards the wrong area's which I suggest the con uses as an advantage to point out the fact that is exactly why we shouldn't raise tax and get our prioritizes straight as it is actually a contradictory statement. Raising taxes would only mean each one of those categories gets the same percentage, only more a tad money, and of course require citizens to pay higher taxes. Then he goes to this insane idea " all the money goes back to you're wellfare" which is absolutely ridiculous as not everyone is a beneficiary of welfare (which he misspelled) and as you see in that pie chart if it were to come back to you (of course implying we are redefining welfare) would need to be 100% of taxes towards welfare which destroys the whole purpose of taxing. Finally he makes a statement it may not seem like it but taxing well is what makes a country good" but that of course is why the U.S. left England (from over taxation without representation) and the con is not advocating for getting rid of taxes, merrily not raising them.
