A short debate on my part. pro will argue that all of the interpretations of God are correct in some way, I will be arguing that the amount of different interpretations of God cannot be all correct and thus if there is a God only one religion is correct. Round one will be used as an acceptance round. Best of luck.

Pro

Ok here are my arguments

God is shown in different forms and ways to different religions- God or a similar entity is shown in different ways to different religions however all religions claim that their interpretation of God is different and superior. The different interpretations of God and the different story's and practices surrounding God cannot all be true, thus if their is a God he can only be pleased through one religion.

Religions differ to much- Despite slight similarities between religions such as Islam and Christianity, there are still big differences between different religious interpretations of God, making it impossible to believe any but one of the different interpretations of God, thus rendering the process of going to heaven and hell a complete case of luck.

In conclusion: There are far too many religious practices and interpretations of God for them all to be correct, thus rendering nearly all religions pointless and only one absolute.

The problem is that truth is not subjective. Truth is the basis for opinions to be established, not the effect of an opinion. If I ask a Muslim how he knows Muhammad was true, his answer will be because the Qu'Ran says so. If I ask how he knows the Qu'Ran is true, he will answer because Muhammad said so. This is not an establishment of God, rather it was a man who claimed a vision, proclaimed himself as being nearly God, and creating a path of circular reasoning as the justification of the text to be practiced.
Christianity is the only religion that possesses historically verified prophecies that saw fulfillment, not to mention is the only religion that poses God as being the agent of Salvation. The only part man can play in ythe Christian worldview concerning salvation is to choose to submit to God's forgiveness and act accordingly regarding it

Honestly, any interpretation of God would be plausible and not plausible at the same time, because God is incomprehensible. Anything could be interpreted of him.

Reasons for voting decision: I was amazed by this debate. Higgs flat out gave up, and had bad conduct. Halfway through he started speaking Spanish. That's bad conduct, but I also removed S&G from him. In an English debate with English voters, you need to speak English. Pro had a better argument not because his way amazing, but because Con's was bad. Surprisingly, only Con had a source...

Reasons for voting decision: Votebomb. Sorry I feel this case actually calls for it... Higgs is most likely a neo-nazi, attempting to spread hatred against black people. CONDUCT: "I do not accept the debate" why click accept than, except to detail an otherwise interesting debate? S&G: Random letter formations instead of words. ARGUMENT: "higgs has failed to produce any topic based arguments, vote pro!" Agreed. SOURCES: Tomato sauce does not even begin to relate to the topic, it is so off topic that it distracts from the argument thus is a negative source.
