You challenenged me to this debate, clarified the rules and all that in the comments, PMed me, gave us three days to give our arguments, and you still found a way to miss the first round?

Let's go!

The voting system requires you to complete three debates, something not very hard but not too easy either, so you at least have to wait around a few days and create arguments against something for your votes to work in the first place. It would take a long time to make multiple accounts to give yourself votes, or vote bomb in general, discouraging people from doing so.

There's my first argument. I hope you can dispute it.

Thank you kindly for a wonderful first round, hope to hear from you soon lol

I'll try not to shed more than a tear, as you've been my one and only hope of ever coming to a conclusion regarding the voting system on Debate.org being.... being unreliable or not...

Thanks.

Well. Have a good night, and here is a comic showing just how reliable the voting system is --- very.

Haha sounds good, I'm at work and haven't had much time to do anything on here or even think about this, but I like the topic, the title is fine, and I'll probably accept sometime soon.

Oh and before accepting tell me the new title you want.

No worries, I am not a very methodical thinker. I didn't make any effort to find counter-arguments before posting my comment. I just quickly wrote down perspectives that I could see in the moment.

That's kind of what I was thinking, but if you brought those up on your own you've obviously got some counterarguments lol... I want to give it a shot, even though I do have my own issues with the voting and I can think of ways to slightly improve the voting procedures.... I'll think about it, I'll probably accept though!

lol if you want but I could modify it if you wish.

Your position could be that is the most reliable system given the circumstances.
Is it practical or even possible to have train judges? Is 3 finish debates and a mobile phone confirm enough or should there be more required for voting? Would putting more requirement reduce the traffic of this debate resulting in a lower amount of people on the site and thus further narrowing the scope of the voting process? Is the point allocation standard rational and defendable?

These are all possible ways of approaching it and we can discuss condition that would make this debate fair. You could also decline and ask for another topic.
