Pro

Prove why it is okay I believe its wrong because it is mandatory to vote yes if you vote no it is considered an act of treason
Vexorator

Con

Since you did not define anything, then I will do it.

Definition of wrong: not correct or true.

Just because voting may be done differently in other countries doesn't make it wrong.

The voting in North Korea is true. Civilians are given a ballot to check, and they check it. What is false about that?

Pro

people clearly vote yes out of fear there is no other explanation where one get 99.98 percent of all votes yes. it is a glorified dictatorship and the U.N. does nothing because of unofficial loopholes. This causes all the people who voted yes to be placed in a group who agrees with such tyranny whether they do or not.
Vexorator

Con

Whether or not the voting system in North Korea is immoral, it is still correct. Civilians place their vote, and a candidate is elected. The way voting is done in North Korea is correct, not wrong.

Pro

Clearly you have no knowledge of the North Korean voting system. Ballots ARE given out yes but only one option is available the yes option. the .02 percent is from lack of voting. If you did know you would understand wrong is in the context of unjust or immoral. A government in the U.N. is not allowed to have an illegal voting system so I wouldn't argue it was incorrect
Vexorator

Con

Then North Koreans still have a choice. They can either vote yes, or not vote at all. Regardless, the voting system in North Korea isn't wrong. It is correct by their terms and standards.

Then you should've said that in your debate title. I know a little about the voting system in North Korea. I think that it's really stupid but there isn't much we can do about it.

Reasons for voting decision: Pro failed to prove that people are allowed to vote in North Korea and if they are allowed to vote, what the situations are. Con on the other hand failed to prove NK's voting system is fair. S&G go to Con.
