I will let my opponent go first.

I thank my opponent for creating this unusual topic and seeing as my opponent will let me go first, I will comply to such an offer.
I will open up with a few definitions.
World: Earth, the 3rd planet from the sun, the planet we live on [1]
Know: be cognizant or aware of a fact or a specific piece of information [2]
Exist: to have an existence or being (no need to explain, I hope)

Argument

If Earth, as previously defined, does not exist, then we wouldn't exist. But you and I both know we are sentinent beings capable of thought, physical movement, and we can display a physical force causing reactions in the universe and on this planet. We know the world and we know it exists. I can truly not expand from anything else besides this point, so I await my opponent's response. I am excited to see what the response will be.

"A consciousness with nothing of which to be conscious?"

A consciousness can't be conscious of its' own mental states? o_O

I'm not a solipsist, if that's what you're asking.

I can't tell whether you're joking here. I hope so.

"A consciousness with nothing of which to be conscious? Interesting dilemma."

Yup, solipsism.

I'm willing to bet he's going to play some kind of semantic game with the phrase "as we know it", though.

"...it more accurately..."

My keyboard is messed up.

Or to phrase ore accurately, that doesn't mean that *I* don't exist. *You* could be an illusion.

Cody, just because the world doesn't exist doesn't mean you don't exist.

Pro: If this world doesn't exist, why even bother setting up a debate? You should kill your non-existent self, and free your non-existent self from this illusion.
