The world needs to work towards entropy just like the universe. One language one script one country to agree and work towards a future for mankind were the UN doesn't say we are all going to die 2050. we need one rule that sets down informed laws based on accurate information and science without tradition or emotional angel to generate an answer to problem that is wrong because it feels right.

Hello! I would like to confirm that I am the side that does not want a single country in the entire world. I look forward to having a good debate with you!

First off, the most distinct part about each country is their culture. No matter where you go, you will see different types of people and different behaviors based on their background and where they group up. Another part that is equally distinct is the language. Some are elegant and smooth, some are rough and coarse like sandpaper, but they are defining parts of the people nonetheless. By utilizing the fluidity of their language, different people of different racial origins can create varying types of music and art, including calligraphy. So if we were to unify the language and script, we would be practically eliminating much of the written and vocal art in our world. Don't believe me? Just look at what happened to Latin. It used to be the language that was known throughout most of Europe until about a millennium ago. Now, it's considered a dead language. While there are languages that are Latin-based, that is because of all the different countries.

Second, how do you think the world can achieve this? The goal of entropy is very ambitious; it would require the consent of every single country in the world. After that, the change will not be overnight. In early China, Emperor Qin unified China and every single system used. This was a massive achievement, but it cost him his reputation and respect from the people. He was successful, but hated. So unless some tyrant uses brute force, there is a very low possibility that every country will agree to merge and form just one.

Finally, the idea of one rule that dictates everything is not bad. The issue lies not in the idea, but in the execution of the idea. Voting in the United States is done by a very complex method that I hardly understand, but it involves each person voting for a representative in their state, then each representative voting for the president (this could be wrong, but I think the basic idea is there). In places like France or England, where the government is a form of a Republic, where each person votes for representatives in the government. Then there are places like Spain, where there is a constitutional monarchy, but also a parliamentary democracy in the government (don't ask me exactly how that works, I don't have the deepest understanding here). So the first issue encountered would be the type of government. How will the people or leaders of the world decide on that? The next issue would be elections, if needed. I think that the most likely form of government to be created if this is accomplished is a form of a people's republic, but that creates the issue of elections, which would be very costly and difficult to execute across the entire world, especially in less developed places. Finally, how will the government enforce the law? All police are funded by the government itself. With something as expansive as the world, how will the new government be able to fund and control a large police force against crime?

I have thought about this before, but it's like trying to create flying cars. It is seemingly beneficial, but very hard to control all the bad things that could happen as a result.

First of all sorry for missing last round!
The fact that some culture would go inert with a switch to one language is a point i could forfit to you but i would also gladly sacrifice it for the chance of the world finding more common ground between former countries. Infact to make some amount of culture outdated would make countries more alike and in that way make a transition smoother because diversity would disapear atleast for a while since we know new culture will always spring forth but in a new global country it would move in a more simillar direction. This is allready shown in the case of countries today that become more educated in english for example trend towards culture of english speaking countries, or as its called in media "western culture".

The language is how the goal of entropy is going to be achived. One language makes us all able to take part in all of the world culture and all cultural heritage could be translated in time, much of it allready is.
The rule would probably be best served through a peoples republic "ala star wars" where every region(old countries) selects a representativ which will do the speaking of the local goverment. This means that the organisations in place today would very much stay the same but there would be one supre rule that is responsible for the prime directive of the world and its laws. All police and all local goverments work the same way making it easier to control and look over.
This is just some of the ideas but no doubt it would take a few years even though much is just rebranding
