My assertion is simple: There is no irrefutable evidence for the existence of God.

Historically, theists have offered many proofs for god's existence. However, I believe all of these proofs have been satisfactorily rebutted. If anyone can offer an irrefutable proof, I will be glad to retract my claim.

I'll play the devil's advocate, ironically, to argue for the existence of evidence that points towards God. I'll let my opponent know that I am an atheist.

Premise 1: Our consciousness is inherently, intrinsically, necessarily, only and nothing but subjective.
Premise 2: Our perceptors (sense organs) [might] take input from an objective reality but this input is perceived subjectively.
Corollary a: Objective reality cannot be directly cogitated.
Corollary b: The perception of reality exists in the mind only.
Corollary c: The reality we perceive exists in the mind only.
Corollary d: Existence is subjective.
Premise 3: Objective evidence is the stimulus to perceptors.
Corollary e: Perceived evidence is subjective.
Corollary f: No standard of evidence exists, since all evidence is subjective.
Assertion: Irrefutability is irrelevant when applied to evidence.
Premise 4: The idea of God can be cogitated.
Corollary g: Existence of God is subjective.
Assertion: Both Existence and God are subjective.

It follows that God exists as subjectively as the perception of reality.

Corollary h: God is at least as real as the reality that concerns man.
Premise 5: Reality that concerns man exists.
Corollary i: God exists and is real.

The position you're trying to place your opponnent into is not the one they are likely to actually hold, Lilith.

No Theist in their right mind would take this as the proposition stands. You're trying to win an easy victory. There's no irrefutable proof for anything. If you want a fair debate, you should change the resolution to "there is no evidence for God's existence."

If there was such thing as an irrefutable proof then we would probably know God exists...

Duh! By the way, you contradict yourself in the title and introduction. Title says "evidence" and introduction say "proof". I hope you realize that the two of them are completely different things. There is no such thing as a "refutable evidence".

evidence: an indication that makes something evident
evident: clearly revealed to the mind or the senses or judgment

You cannot refute something which is evident (i.e.) there is no such thing as refutable evidence.
