I will take the CON position.

Something I've noticed around the blogosphere is that many people are crying election fraud. I have yet to see any strong evidence that any election fraud occurred. If you believe you have evidence of actual election fraud, bring it up here.

This debate will be four rounds as I am not strictly making an argument in this round.

I am taking the For position.

It is extremely unlikely that the random samples that were polled before the election would be as far off from the actual results as they were. One possible, and indeed even likely, explanation for this would be widespread voter fraud, be it intentional or accidental. The fact that the numbers seem skewed to the benefit of national favorites, but local underdogs, would only seem to support the idea (particularly given that the campaigns in question would certainly have access to the kind of resources necessary for such wide-scale voter fraud).

Polling voters is a serious task, but it does not necessarily represent the opinions of voters on election day. Any number of reasons could have caused the election to go for a different candidate than predicted. While voter fraud is one possibility- it is not the only possibility. Remember my proposition is whether or not there is 'strong evidence' for voter fraud, not "the possibility of voter fraud". It is very possible Hillary Clinton's showing of emotion swayed female voters to change their votes from Obama to Hillary. It is also very possible that her showing of emotion caused new people to vote for her that had not previously planned to- after all, voter turnout was higher than expected. There is also the possibility that people lied at the original polling. People may be afraid of being called racist, or, for any number of reasons claim that they will vote for a black man- but vote for Hillary when it comes down to actually voting.

Whatever it may be, I have yet to see from you- or anyone else anything more than the mere 'possibility' of voter fraud rather than 'strong evidence' of voter fraud.

My opponent has failed to prove that there was any election fraud, citing only his own suspicions of voter fraud due to what he sees as discrepancy in the numbers. He has yet to reply to any of my arguments.

Neither a discrepancy between a poll and an actual election nor a series of license plates justifies any more suspicion of election fraud than every previous election. Furthermore, placing the blame of this action on the candidates is completely unfounded; in the event that voters from Massachusetts did actually vote in the New Hampshire election (despite the fact that you have to be a citizen of the state to vote, I believe), that could easily have been a result of the free will of voters, regardless of the official Clinton campaign. And as for polls, polls given at different times of day by different people in different locations yield different results. No foundation rests in this; I believe Con was victorious.

There is some evidence to voter fraud. Hillary Clinton was giving a speech at a rally and in the parking lot in which all of her supporters' cars were parked, most of the license plates were from Massachusetts. This tells us that she brought in a bunch of voters from another state in order to win New Hampshire. The New Hampshire primaries don't check for residentital status when voters come up, they simply check where you're staying that night and if you plan to move back to New Hampshire in the near future. I strongly believe Hillary had a hand in her victory because the polls clearly showed Obama winning in a landslide again. I believe the "Iron my shirt!" fellow was a plant as well. While he was yelling, Hillary called for the lights to be shown on the guy...the guy just happened to be in the right spot. We know nothing about this guy. If he were a real protestor of Hillary, we would know his address, profession, and complete life story. But we know nothing because the Hillary campaign has kept him in secrecy. He was a plant, and Hillary Clinton is trying to cheat her way through this election. It doesn't suprise me that the Clinton's would be doing this though. Vote Rudy Giuliani.
