A good day to you fellow debater. It is with great pleasure that I would like to thank you for sparking this controversial debate.
Let us begin.

First and foremost, it is irrational for a club international World Cup to be established for the sole purpose that there is a prodigious number of football clubs in the world. This makes the process of elimination which leads up to the final selection of the thirty two or sixty four teams quite tedious. Furthermore, one should take into account the fact that the creation of a World Cup that is based on clubs will reduce the general value of the International World Cup. The lengthy period of four years during which no other major international football event occurs helps to create tension and anxiety which in the long run makes the International World Cup more profitable and popular.

Firstly I agree that it would be difficult to establish initially. There is, however, three years in which the qualifying campaign could take place. There are a prodigious number of football teams in Europe and they manage to make a Champions league fairly easily. Now I realize there are a lot more clubs outside of the elite European ones, however, the club world cup does not have to be limited to 32 teams. 128 would probably be a good number to go for.

I wholeheartedly disagree with your view on the prolonged period in which anxiety is created adding to the World Cups value. In Europe there is the Euros; an event that is as highly anticipated internationally as the World Cup. This reduces the period to a major event every two years. FIFA have now passed the motion to introduce a League of Nations to run which is also highly anticipated. This leaves only a one year gap every four year cycle in which a major event will eventually fill. I call for this to be a Club World Cup as I believe most non-European clubs would love to get a chance to play the major European giants in a competitive atmosphere.

It is quite a certain fact that an excess of competitions will result in most of them or all of them, at extreme times, losing value. Hence the Club World Cup as well as the International World Cup will result in one or all of them losing value. In response to your point based on the Europe league. It would do you good to look at the International World Cup clearly; the European countries give the International World Cup more value. Most countries that win the World Cup are European, with exceptions like Brazil. With Europe making the World Cup a success, it can make an internationally renowned cup on it's own. However, if a club cup that comprises of some clubs from countries like Africa, that barely make it to the final few of the World Cup was to be created, some monotony would be associated with this cup.
