Of course not! Leadership can't be judged by any examination, further a well educated man does not guarantee a good leader.

I agree that thee should be entrance exams for getting into politics. In your brief argument, you stated that a well educated man does not necessarily make a good leader. Obviously the exams would be based on intellect, but more so on actual politics. Weather you like it or not, tests are an accurate way of showing what people know. The scores of these tests would potentially help people in their voting process. Some Americans do not go into an election educated about the people in the race. If people were educated further in the runners, it would make for better decisions. This could be a clear way in helping people vote. This may help the other running mates know just who they are dealing with. There are just more pros than cons in this situation. Sorry.

I agree that education is important to become a leader as it makes you more mature and reasonable but only to a certain level. It is not important to be highly educated.Qualification should not be only money and manpower in politics. What we require of a politician is honesty, positive thinking and patriotism which can't be judged by a set of questions.
Secondly in democracy we elect our leaders, so we have right to discard the non deserving candidates. Also good education does not ensure eradication of problems like corruption and other.
Moreover i agree that awareness of country and people is required but it should not judged through any test rather it should be seen as an eligibility criteria.
