The Death Penalty has killed a lot of innocent people. God is the only one who can make that decision.

Wow, so I guess I have ten minutes to post an argument. This should happen fast.

Well, anyway, all I really need to say is that in Leviticus, God actually created a mandate for a death penalty. It was run by humans.

Also, my opponent hasn't provided statistics that a lot of innocents have been killed by it and hasn't even proven that God is the only one that can make these decisions. So really, my opponent hasn't upheld the BoP, and I'm winning by default.

First of all, I am a she.

Second of all, no I didn't. If you're talking about the God thing, I was saying even God let humans do a death penalty thing on their own judgement.

I never disagreed with you or debated you. I just asked you questions because I knew it would be funny, and it was.

So, can we agree (after about 3 hours of debate) that public policies are better without religion influencing them?

I specifically labeled it as a hypothetical. I'm not saying there is definitely a religion that's 100% true. I'm saying there is the possibility that one is 100% true, and with that possibility you can ask "if we knew and it was definitive" to propose a situation which may oppose the base of a universal statement you've made. No truth claims were made on my part. I just asked you question.

Well, one truth claim was made, but it was definitively true. That was just about the appeal to nature though.

This world sucks, your name and you're arguments have something in common: they suck
You are not going to force religion on somebody and win. (Tyrants and oppressors often do that)
I know Christ died for me. Not my country. Once again when you cite any religion when making a policy, you loose.

Reasons for voting decision: Dumb. I don't give arguments to Pro because using the Bible isn't a very good argument at all, only point I give is for conduct because Con left his own debate.
