Before I jump into things, I just want to point out that I am a part of this generation, and that there are a few good teenagers out there. The vast majority of this generation, however, is going to bring this world down, unless we kids with a bright future spoon-feed them into at most, decent jobs. I am frightened by what will happen when "swag" and "YOLO" are running the major businesses of the world. This debate is open for anyone who can see the light through the polluted cloud that is our next generation.
A fair amount of teenagers of our generation with the "swag" and "yolo' mindset do not pose a threat to the future of our country because they are simply being who they are, "teenagers." Does this mean we aren't serious about our schoolwork or even more important, our future? Nearly everyone, especially teens love to follow up in the latest trends and fashions, then show it off for the world to see. Does this mean we aren't focused on what we got to get done, to make ourselves better and prepare for whatever the future holds for us? There are hardworking teenagers out there who also like to have fun and if "swag" and "yolo" is what makes them happy, Let them live, as long as it is does not affecting their learning. I do not see a problem.
