This is the following statement:

"Triangles do not not not not not not not not not not not not not not not not not not not not not not not not not not not not not not not have 3 sides."

I am pro for this statement is not true.
vi_spex

Con

without 3 sides there can be no triangle.

anything that has 3 sides, is a triangle, and everything that exist has at least 3 sides for it to exist, like positive negative and balance

light on my screen is true

I agree. If my statement is not true, I take the debate. I am affirming that my statement in round 1 is not true. If my statement is true, the debate goes to you. You are affirming that this statement is not not true meaning that it is true.

There were 31 "nots" following my statement in round 1. Each "not" cancels out each succeeding "not" because they negate each other. Since there are 31, and 31 is an odd number, the statement will read "triangles do not have 3 sides".

But triangles have 3 sides. So this statement "triangles do not have 3 sides" is not true. I am affirming that by being pro for "this statement is not true".

Pro should lose grammar for 31 negatives in a sentence.

"But because it is an odd number, it is false."

the statement is true, as not disappears

Can you even read, vi_spex? That is exactly what I said.
I said, specifically, that 2 nots cancel each other out, therefore the statement is true. I made assumptions based on that. You have taken my argument and used it during the round yourself.

if 3 triangles does not not have 3 sides, it has 3 sides

Reasons for voting decision: Interesting. The resolution was "this statement is not true." Pro had BoP, and he did not fulfill it. If he did fulfill it, he would refute himself, as this is a paradox. Since pro did not meet his BoP, arguments go to con. Conduct also goes to con because pro obviously attempted to make this debate to boost his ELO and get a free win.
