If it is four years we may be able to receive more knowledge or have more time to digest what we have learnt

I believe that fewer years in university is actually to the benefit of most students. In many cases, it only takes a year or two of intensive study to learn the basics required to do a certain job and the majority of learning takes place on the job itself.

If a student is stuck in school and doing coursework for 20 or more hours every week throughout the fourth year of their post-secondary education, it doesn't allow them to fully immerse themselves in the workplace and learn everything that is involved with actually doing the job. They actually become less competitive than those who drop out of university and work full-time because they can't be relied upon to get work done since they have so many other demands on their time.

Also, additional years of university can add up to tens of thousands of dollars in debt for many students, who could otherwise be in the workplace building up a decent savings account.

I think that that should be the best to have more years of learning. In these years, pre-adults have no idea what they want to do in the future, so it is safer to have more knowledge on different jobs, not just deep on one single place. When the situation is not good, you may just get a not so good job. It is better to know more.
I support 4 years of University

Students in university are adults, not "pre-adults", and if they are enrolled in a university program they will already have decided which field of employment they would like to pursue. A fourth year of university will not prepare them or give them knowledge for a variety of jobs, but simply build upon the foundation of what they have already learned in years one, two and three of their particular field of study.

The average cost of one year of tuition alone in Canada is more than $5,500. Of course, on top of this student have to pay for supplies, text books, food and other living expenses. And in most cases, they are unable to find gainful full-time employment during this time because of the stress and scheduling of their studies, so they must rely on student loans and other money lending solutions in order to survive.

I support three years or less of university study for better financial stability as students graduate and enter the workforce.
