this is just a misunderstanding that todays youth misuses mobile phones, internets and all.
actually, mobiles and internets have a lot of uses which our mothers are not trying to see.
i agree that sometime people misuses it.
but its a rare case.there are many other uses of internets.
now i am not saying all the facts.lets see who want to become my opponent.

Topic : todays youth misuses mobile phones, internets.

My opponent already agreed that "people sometimes misuse them."

Although my opponent is representing con, he/she just supported the opposite view, and therefore this debate should end with pro's victory already.

okey, i agree that it happens.
but you might have read the next sentence also that its rare.
why should we blame all the youths for the mistakes done by a few.
you are also young.isn't it?
okey, then, let me ask you one question.
are you misusing all these.............
WHEN THERE IS A POSITIVE SIDE,THERE WILL BE A NEGATIVE SIDE ALSO
one cannot plot all the negative sides of everything.
if so happens, then its his fault.

The topic is "todays youth misuses mobile phones, internet"

it doesn't imply any portion of a group, so if I can prove that even one youth misuses mobile phones, internet, then it's my win.

"WHEN THERE IS A POSITIVE SIDE,THERE WILL BE A NEGATIVE SIDE ALSO
one cannot plot all the negative sides of everything.
if so happens, then its his fault."

My opponent, again, is refuting his own side.
I don't feel it's necessary to represent my arguments on this round.
I will give my last argument next round if he/she starts to support his "own" side instead of my side.

my opponent think that i am supporting him.
but
i think he didnt understand what i mean.
"it doesn't imply any portion of a group, so if I can prove that even one youth misuses mobile phones, internet, then it's my win."
obviously, i am talking about a group.
for example,
if a father kills his child,
it doesn't mean that we cant believe any father in this world,
or if a doctor kills his patient only for money........
will you agree that all doctors in this world are like this........
i hope that your answer will be NO.
so its not possible to believe that all youths misuses mobiles just because my opponent prove that one youth is misusing all these.
in your next argument, please answer the question i asked you in my previous round that
"are you misusing all the facilities given by your parents"
if so you are not an ideal youth.
todays youth is the future of this world.
if they misuse all these,we wont be getting this much technologies.
world is developing day by day.
so once again,
we should not blame the youths for the mistake done by a few.

Ok, so what my opponent is saying that she didn't actually mean everyone correctly uses mobile phones and internet with the right purpose, but she meant "a considerable number of youths" use them correctly. I offer to follow this "newly" proposed topic.

"for example, if a father kills his child,
it doesn't mean that we cant believe any father in this world,
or if a doctor kills his patient only for money........"

What my opponent is saying that a whole group cannot be blamed for one of the group member's immoral act. Although it is argumentative, I accept this point for now. However, does only "one" youth misuse mobile phones or internet?

Since my opponent did not represent the standard of judging(only a portion of misuse is not considered as misuse), I will represent some data that show youths actually use cell phones or internet with various purposes other than just the original use of them.

I will assume that my opponent thought the orginal usage of mobile phones and internet should be "communication," since that's the original reason why they were invented.

Talk into the phone 8 7.62%
LOL Internet 50 47.62%
SMS 19 18.10%
Email ur homies 10 9.52%
Super Monkey Flashlight 1 0.95%
Listen to music/books/podcasts/sound effects 11 10.48%
Map crap 2 1.90%
Other obscure freaky stuff 4 3.81%

Play games 16 42.11%
Chat all Day 23 60.53%
Pose Wid it 13 34.21%
Attract the Opposite Sex with it 13 34.21% <------------------ is it the right usage?

Ironically, youths use mobile phones to use "internet" these days, and this poll supports that not only "1" youth misuses phones, but almost half of them use mobile phones other than the original intention of its inventor.

I see no further point of representing my arguments. My opponent did not define "misuse," and the purposes of internet and mobile phones can be various. If my opponent actually explained how internet and mobile phones contain various forms of purposes, and people who are capable of utilizing all of the contents of internet and mobile phones should not be blamed for "misusing" but instead "smart or crafty"

oops I forgot to finish my argument.

all of the contents of internet and mobile phones should not be blamed for "misusing" but instead "smart or crafty," my opponent would've won this debate with ease.
