that even the Bible accepts transgender people

Alrighty, I accept.

The Burden of Proof is on Pro and so far only backs up his/her side with a bare assertion.
Debate Round No. 1

Galatians 3:28
"There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free, there is no male and female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus"

Proving that God will accept you no matter what you are

You took Galatians 3:28 out of context. All are united under Christ through faith as stated in Galatians 3:26

"So in Christ Jesus you are all children of God through faith,"

It is stated in 1 Corinthians 6:9

"Or do you not know that wrongdoers will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: Neither the sexually immoral nor idolaters nor adulterers nor men who have sex with men"

"A woman must not wear men"s clothing, nor a man wear women"s clothing, for the Lord your God detests anyone who does this" (Deuteronomy 22:5).

By this logic, since transgender have broken God's law, they will not inherit the kingdom of God. However like all sins are paid through the blood of Christ. The Bible does not condone the actions of transgenders.

For a Believer in Christ, an excellent rule of thumb IS:
If the world agrees WITH YOU, your NEED to re-evaluate IF you ARE a Christian, cause , God said The World will hate you? They Killed Him, didn't they?

I'm sorry but you are incorrect in your statement; you see the criptures ARE ADAMANT that you are NOT TO LEAN on your OWN understanding but in ALL things acknowledge God;
BY definition: Transgender people are people who experience a mismatch between their gender identity or gender expression, and their assigned sex.

IF you look at that statement you quickly SEE it's inaccuracy- (people who experience a mismatch between their gender identity )

Proverbs 3:5 Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding;
That VERY MUCH implies NOT TO ACT on your feelings OR your understanding!

Proverbs 23:4
Do not wear yourself out to get rich; do not trust your own cleverness.

Proverbs 28:26
Those who trust in themselves are fools, but those who walk in wisdom are kept safe.

Can you see this?

The quote that the con gave talks about men in women's clothing and vice versa, which is NOT the same thing as being transgender. One who is transgender changes the gender of themselves so they aren't necessarily dressing in the clothing of the opposite gender (Considering transgender doesn't always mean from man to women or vice versa). I don't think the con fully understands what transgender means because the quote used does NOT talk about transgender-ness at all.

Wow, I never realized how few characters I had to argue. The comments have a higher character limit than arguments.

But as for your Galatians verse, I think you are missing the point and maybe taking it out of context.
"for you are all one in Christ Jesus" means you are all of equal rank, not all the same gender.
"in Christ Jesus you are all children of God through faith, 27 for all of you who were baptized into Christ have clothed yourselves with Christ." Galatians 3:27
I believe Paul was saying that man and woman are all equal in the eyes of God, and are all sons and daughters of God.
Back then, women where treated as property almost, and where not considered "equal" to man.
I believe Paul really wrote this verse to show we all all equal in Christ.

male and female He created them (Genesis 1:27).
God created humans a certain way, if you are a man you are a man if you are a woman you are a woman.
And so,
"A woman must not wear men"s clothing, nor a man wear women"s clothing, for the Lord your God detests anyone who does this" (Deuteronomy 22:5).
"All the modern-day speculation about numerous genders"or even a gender "continuum" with unlimited genders"is unbiblical."

Reasons for voting decision: Args: In round 2, Pro argued that Galatian 3:28 shows transgender people are accepted in the Bible, showing that God accepts everyone. To counter, Con said that Pro's quote only means that people are united under Christ, not that all actions are accepted; this was an understandable, but weak and underexplained rebuttal. Later, Con argued that the Bible (Deut. 22:5) actively criticizes transgenderism and therefore doesn't accept it. Con has weakly refuted Pro's points and put forward his own. Con's citation of Deut. 22:5 is stronger because it deals directly with transgenderism. S/G: In R1, Pro's only argument was an incomplete sentence without capitals or punctuation; Pro's R2 argument had no punctuation outside of quotes.*** Feedback: because of the low character limit, Con could have ommitted the Cor 6:9 quote as it isn't directly related to the topic. This would have allowed for explanation.
