Stupidape

Pro

Trees are people too. Trees are people too. Trees are people too.
Zarroette

Con

My opponent merely repeats the resolution several times. If it is implied that these are arguments, then they become circular in reasoning, due to the proof of" "trees are people too" being "trees are people too". Why? Because "trees are people too". Since this line of argument is circular, which is a logical fallacy [1], and it is my opponent's only line of reasoning, the BoP remains unfulfilled, and thus Con wins by default.

Appeal to Repetition, I see. I like it when fallacies aren't so obvious, though.

5 points to Con (Arguments, Sources). Reasons for voting decision: Trees are not people too. Trees are not people too. Trees are not people too.

[*Reason for removal*] Clear vote bomb. The voter doesn't explain any point allocations.

Reasons for voting decision: Pro has an unfulfilled BOP. Con's argument disproves the resolution by demonstrating that it is an illogical fallacy to make this claim - especially without evidence. Con had sources to back up this critical argument and therefore Con is awarded both sources and arguments as a result.

Reasons for voting decision: Con proves that the BoP remained unfulfilled, and thus Con wins by default. P.S. Nice noobsniping :P
