Video games might barely influence one's mind, but many are saying that violent games are damaging teen's brains by making them more violent. I find this faulty as if video games were really that bad, then wouldn't we have a lot more crimes in the world committed by teens? And if that were to happen, we would have more than at least a million teens going on crime sprees around the world at the same time.
In our modern day society the status quo of the individual ( furthering even more to the teenage audience) is heavily influenced by the technology. Especially one that controls a substancial amount of time. Thus this individual is promoting there time to what runs on the basis of violence. This influences the the teenage mind to prioritize these means as there notion of justice and fairness.
I agree with that but if violence were to be prioritized; wouldn't there be a lot more crime committed by teens in their ages? Hasn't the number of crimes committed by teens decreased through the last 20 years?
