RULES:

1. Use all military information/statistics from this source only: http://www.globalfirepower.com...
Any other statistics you need, such as debt or politics related can be used with any source.

2. You are defending

3. NO NUCLEAR WARFARE. Period.

4. We must set up a background to why we are fighting. We can't just say, "we declare war on each other because we feel like it!" No, we have to have a story behind it, to make it realistic.

5. Morale is a key factor, it will drop your men's ability to fight, so try to bring the other country's morale down.

6. I suggest making maps to represent what you are doing, it would be easier.

7. Your turns are within a 1 to 3 month period. You can't win the war in one turn, basically. For example: Debator A basically sends his whole army to the United States, takes over the West, Midwest, South, and Northeast in one turn, and Debator B has nothing to do. That would take at least a year or two... maybe even longer. But, nevertheless, I'm not defending.

8. If I liberate/destroy your capital, I have to defend the capital, the war isn't over. However, if the debate ends and I still have your capital, you lose. Another way you could lose is me liberating all your land completely.

9. I have made it acceptable.

10. You may have ONE minor ally. Minor ally meaning that they aren't a superpower. They may fight with you and supply you with troops. If so, I would need to conquer that ally as well. My minor ally would be Canada, because based on the superpower list I am going off, (http://www.theworldreporter.com...) Canada is not on the top 10 superpowers, therefore, they are my minor ally.

Good luck!

My main country is China. My minor ally is South Korea. The war started because of the difference between governments and the growing financial tensions

Let the war begin!

Story

Due to the USA funding nearby countries of China, such as Taiwan and India, this angers China. Due to this result, China gets fed up with the USA, and they demand their debt to be paid. USA reacts by declaring war on February 23rd, 2015. The invasion begins.

BY THE NUMBERS (source: http://www.globalfirepower.com...)

Active Military Personnel:

China: 2,333,000
USA: 1,400,000

Reserves:

China: 2,300,000
USA: 1,100,000

Now as you can see, China dominates. But, I have something else that helps me.

Aircraft (Total):

USA: 13,892
China: 2,860

USA annihilates China aircraft, meaning that they will be vulnerable to any attack from the air, which will drastically help the outnumbered USA troops.

AFV strength:

USA: 41,062
China: 4,788

USA dominates again. This will drastically help the USA troops, that are already even with China because of the aircraft.

Fleet strength:

China: 673
USA: 473

China does win this, but I will put aircraft following my navy, which will outnumber Chinese navy.

War budget:

USA: $577,100,000,000
China: $145,000,000,000

I can spend more money than China, meaning I can pay more money for supplies to recruit more troops.

MINOR ALLY NUMBERS (Canada) [source: http://www.globalfirepower.com...]

Total troops (reserved and active):

143,000

Total AFVs:

3,004

Aircraft:

420

Navy:

63

War budget:

$15,700,000,000

Obviously puny numbers for Canada. However, due to the budget for Canada and the USA, a soldier costs about $850,000 dollars to train. I will recruit 10,000 troops a turn. This takes away $850,000,000 dollars a turn for Canada. For the USA, I will recruit 500,000 troops a turn. This takes away $42,500,000,000 a turn. I will have more than enough money left for 5 turns on each country.

February 23rd, 2015. THE INVASION BEGINS.

5 aircraft carriers along with 3,300 aircraft, 470,000 troops (both Canadian and American) sail across the Pacific Ocean. One aircraft carrier positions along the Nanjing region, two position along the Beijing region, and one near Jinan and one near the South Korean coastline, ready to invade. By the time they reach China and assemble all the troops, it is March.

When did I ever say anything about monitoring their air? I said that they were positioning ready for an invasion...

Tactically, @WarDebator has not specified the locations of invasion, nor has he spoken of any tactical arrangement or technology. These details are important, and this is just occupation of Chinese air territory, not even a proper invasion. Also, there will be aircraft monitoring the Chinese air, and the battle will have had to have begun by the second round.

Actually, yes. Good thinking there. Spring would be best, but the war would still probably last long enough to hit winter, unfortunately.

Not Summer, that's when Napoleon and Hitler invaded and lost when the winter set in. Invade the first warn day of Spring.

Also, saying Russians are "stronger" is stereotypical.

RandomDebate:

You do realize that the USA has a bigger population? Also, you do also realize that the USA has more AFVs, and a bigger budget which means they can spend money on recruiting more troops than Russia. Not to mention the USA has more active troops. "Cold WINTER." Invade during summer.
