War in Iraq has been a losing battle? Iran would be a horrible defeat to the USA!?

part of being patriotic is political dissent. Go back to high school and learn about your rights as an American citizen. I know that I can be patriotic by standing with soldiers, but against the war. It is a losing battle, nearly 4000 have died on our side, how many innocent victims have died? Almost $3 trillion has been spent! wow yeah spitting in the faces of our soldiers? don't ever say that about me, I have a lot of friends in Iraq, I support them 100% percent. I just don't believe we will come out as victors in this damned war. I know people have died in Iraq. And I am very sorry for your loss, just remember, this war is PREEMPTIVE not PREVENTATIVE!

Ok any one who votes for pro is a pecker head because he didn't even debate. This is a vote on the debate not opinions. And lastly the war in Iraq is not a loosing battle. Anyone who says it is, is not patriotic. They are a shame to America. And you are spitting in the faces of our soldiers and telling the family's of people who have lost a loved one in Iraq (like me) Their loved one has died in vain. You disgust me you freaks!

If the war were to cost 20 million an hour that would amount to 175 trillion dollars per year. Get your facts srtaight.

I agree with you brother, the war is costing 20 million an hour, thats roughly 6,000 a second. We simply can't fix the economic problems until we leave the middle east

Kels, I applaud your husband and all troops. I am sorry if my statement sounded like i was saying the ultimate sacrifices they are paying is bad. Sorry, but, what I was trying to get at is that we do not need to send our soldiers (as brave and honorable) as they are, into battle, especially a battle that was Preemptive instead of Preventative. We had no legal backing, nor did we have any backing from the International community except our great friends across the pond. I have a few friends in Iraq who are having to sacrifice time to grow up here, but they are graduates from the military academies and are doing their duty. You should hear the things they tell me about the war and how much they hate it and wish it would have never happened. I have a friend who has been blown up 2 times! 2 times in 2 months! and he gets told "your going back to Iraq" what the hell is that? so the ultimate sacrifice I really mean is the death that some have to pay for our sins. Do our men and women have to pay for our president's sins? we should put the blood on him, not them :)

Most of those men and women are happy to make sacrifices and to go to war. My husband and all of his unit certainly were. Out of the 80 guys in his unit , they all wanted to go and all support a President that doesn't make their sacrifices worthless by us pulling out of Iraq. I am sure we all want to avoid a war with Iran , but seeing as they keep trying to instigate things that could prove to be difficult. Hopefully they will stop and then we won't have to go to war.
