Should land lost during a war be returned at the conclusion of the war? Does it matter whether the war was initiated as a border/land dispute? Does it matter if the war was won by the aggressor or defendant? And should the decision to retain or return the land be determined by the victor or by a 3rd party like the UN? Use examples of war outcomes (possibly spanning various empire entities around the world) throughout the past 3000 years to back up your argument vs current international law.

War is not a fair game to be played by two sides competing against each other , and a third part to determine the result , like a judge or a referee , War is simply the strong wants to get stronger so he devours the weak by all means necessary , and all ways possible .
