Do you think Hitler was a bad person? Or was he just misunderstood?

I think that Hitler wasn't a bad person but definitely was overtaken by greed and evil. I believe that he was influenced by evil but I honestly don't believe that anyone is necessarily a bad person. We are never bad at heart. But worldly influences can definitely mess with our morals and conscience. Whether Hitler could go to heaven.. I am not sure.. I believe that God knows that we are all not perfect so I think that he doesn't expect us to not do horrible things. Hitler's ideas and actions definitely affected millions of people. What he did was not right and there is no excuse or justification, however he was born a baby pure and sweet just like everyone else.. think about it.. every serial killer, murderess, terrorist.. any horrible person you can think of was born as a baby.. without any ounce of bad or evil in them.. this is our natural state. Yet as we are all in the world longer we start to learn bad things and start to become influenced wrongly. It is the world that is wrong and bad, not the individual

I think he was a cruel person. I also think he had some mental problems.

Hmm, interesting.

Pro seems to believe in nurture over nature, and that that overrules anything you may have done.

This leads to Pro being a determinist.

Reasons for voting decision: Con forfeited more and dropped all the arguments that Pro presented. Since Pro had the burden of proof (because their objective was to prove the resolution to be true), this means that there arguments remain standing and they win the arguments points. Due to more forfeits by Con, I award conduct to Pro and due to no rebuttals by Con I award the arguments points to Pro because their burden was achieved.
