The Vietnam was was justifiable because it happened.

If it wasn't justifiable, no one would have engaged in it to begin with as there would have been no justification for engaging in it.

It is now up to Con to explain how the war could have happened if no one justified it.

This debate is too black and white. The US should have stationed troops in Vietnam to make sure the North didn't break the treaty they signed, but instead the US just full-out withdrew.
