Thanks for accepting the debate! There's really no need for a format, so debate however you want. The only rule is to keep an open mind- there is no shame in admitting we are wrong. I can't say a lot here other than that it is unfair to deny two consenting parties of legal age to marry.

(Sorry, I am on holiday and I was very busy)
So according to the definitions, I provided as my opponent didn't provide them, marriage is the state of being united to a person of the opposite sex as husband or wife in a consensual and contractual relationship recognised by law. In that case it's impossible for gays to be married as a gay is a homosexual, not a heterosexual and homosexual means same sex, so according to the definition it's impossible as only straights/heterosexuals can marry according to the definition of marriage. Thereby, unless Pro can refute my argument completely as I already refuted his statement I win.
