We shouldn't have school everyday, for 9 hours, for 6 months and have 6 months of summer break.

No we should not have school everyday, for 9 hours, for 6 months, and have 6 months of school because kids would have a lot of more homework everyday without breaks at all. If you don't get breaks eventually, you'll do worst in school.

With longer days and longer periods, kids will have some extra time to do work. From personal experience I tend do be more motivated to do homework when I am at school rather than at home because I don't have anything else to do at school. With this extra time and motivation to do work I think that kids will be able to get their work done. If kids choose not to do their homework in the time they are given then that is their own fault and not the fault of the school. With the extra time at school, and personal motivation to do homework because there is nothing else to do, I believe that there will easily be enough time for kids to get their homework done, either in school, or outside of school.

What about kids who are slow at school? They take their time on their homework and such? Then they would have to bring homework home and it would be piling up and wouldn't want to do it because they would be really tired from school and want to sleep. What about breaks? Kids need breaks for holidays so they can visit their family and such. With all the homework and school, kids won't be able to visit their families until 6 months later. Also, if students don't get breaks, it can become overwhelming for them that they will become stressed out and/or depressed. Not only that, yeah 6 months of summer break sounds awesome, but students would forget EVERYTHING they learned 6 months ago in school, which would not help the next year.

Reasons for voting decision: Conduct goes to Pro. Con forfeited more rounds; S&G was tied as far as I could see; Arguments go to Pro. Con only made two arguments, one which is based off of what HE would do and the other of which Pro successfully rebutted; Sources are tied as neither used them.
