The things important to this world are decided as less important by the human race, even more so by those at the higher end of the class system, who have us so eager to see our hard earned monthly set of numbers which we allow to define our lives. We are so stuck in our powerless ways that it is merely impossible to imagine a life without money which we are allowing ourselves to be controlled by.
We are addicted to the challenge of chase, of owning more than our neighbours, of seeing those set of numbers increase - it is at this point that we forget, become careless and ignorant to the things that actually matter. Why would we care to keep up such appearances when animals are dying at our cost in horrific farming conditions? We are sick as a race for allowing this process to become a norm. Information about our animal welfare is kept to a minimum by the media as we are fed what we have grown to want to hear. The majority of people are conscious of what happens behind closed doors however we hold a wall against all thought of cruelty - all to enjoy a guilt free meal.
Unwilling to change.

First of all I would like to comment on our extremely depressing pessimistic view of humanity. You need to study your history to see that humanity is always changing.

I agree that humanity is heading towards another Dark Age period. In which power is held with the few and tyranny and greed rule above all. However, humanity has historically proven that we can reject what we do not believe in and revolutionize our world into something better.

The world is based solely upon consumerism and the majority of people believe in this. Our world survives on materialism and consumerism which is not sustainable. And for the small amount of people who see through it will survive.
Hurricane Sandy was a prime example. Massive destruction and near complete disruption of infrastructure."Shipments of blankets and food and clothing were being shipped in and ignored. The most pressing concern for the masses was power to charge their cell phones.

I agree with all of your comment except the fact that no human is evil. I would argue in fact that every human naturally leans toward evil. It's hard to live right, it's easy to live wrong.

i agree that we are currently a species of destructive illogical madmen, but this will change with time

noone is bad

just mentally retarded

we should definitely make longterm plans to become a vegan species

also keeping pets is enslavement and cruelty to animals

but critically we all ignore the fact that our governments actively choose to exploit the poorer nations solely due to greed

and we stupidly accept capitalism and traditions and history and religion and military and royalty and limitless wealth

I agree with you

thumbs up from me
