Were the actions of both Irving MacArthur High School and the Irving police department justifiable. These actions of course led to the informing of law enforcement and eventually the detaining and integrating of 14 year old (Muslim Student) Ahmed Mohamed, who brought a clock he "invented" to school in order to "impress his teachers".
-Note he was not allowed to speak to his parents before or during the interrogation.

As much as the police has every caution to take certain measures to secure safety and security for the school and in that of the public interest, they have failed to do so in the right way that they have managed to produce a hailstorm of hatred and condemnation which now sees the school and authority placed in disgrace among the public view. They should have handled the matter properly and professionally, and not have utilized force which the public as well as the kid it as see as the trampling on the rights of an individual; a right which is enshrined in and protected by the United States Constitution. They should have instead have take proper care in interrogating the kid and should have informed the parents of the issue.

So if I take up this debate, I have to defend the muslim kid who brought in the clock, correct? Or would I be defending the school and PD?
