Thank you for bringing this topic to my attention. Let us begin. First, I negate your reasoning for your argument. "I believe that the atomic bombings were not justifiable because no one has the right to go destroy something that's not theirs." Wow. I would be more concerned if it was morally justifiable if the bombings took thousands of lives, not property damage. And don't get me started on destroying stuff that isn't theirs. You remember Pearl Harbor? Yeah, I think you do. They started it, so we ended it.
If you knew your history, you would know that America has asked Japan many times to surrender and prevent further bloodshed. World War Two was already bringing the world down to its knees. And Japan wouldn't surrender. Hirohito was hell bent on even sacrificing every last one of his own to achieve his own end, and for what? Just to show the world Japan doesn't run? I respect Japan, and I love their culture, but everyone needs to back down at some point. These bombings may not have been the best choice, but they were the necessary choice.
