Pro

I, as pro, will be arguing that if you are kind to someone, they are more likely to hear you out and thus it is easier to change their opinion on something. I think that this is what is supported by psychology and logic.

I think kindness should be given to those who deserve it . I"m not say you have to be aggressive all the time but some people enjoy taking advantage of kind people. I think you should have a side of kindness and aggressiveness.
