Mental work is tough but not more than physical. action is required. you don't go and think all day without doing physical work. in that case you will never achieve anything unless you do some activity. activity leads to more thinking and then more creative actions are taken .

hi thank you for accepting,

"action is required. you don't go and think all day without doing physical work. in that case you will never achieve anything unless you do some activity. activity leads to more thinking and then more creative actions are taken ."

well i am not talking which comes first mental stress or physical stress. I am talking which one is tougher.in that case let me tell you If You haven't decided mentally what u want to do and how to do that you can not perform any physical work.so first you have to mentally prepare your self for any physical work

Physical activity releases tension while the mental stress causes anxiety, depression and heart attacks. If you have a mentally stressful job the best thing for you is exercise

Mental exhaustion is worse because rest doesn't help like it does for physical exhaustion. Sleeping doesn't mitigate mental issues like it does for physical issues. Once you wake up you may be physically refreshed but your mental issues have not changed.

When physically exhausted all you have to do is stay hydrated, rest for awhile, then you are back up on your feet and ready to go. With mental exhaustion it can really wear you down, and even when you try to separate yourself from what is mentally exhausting you, it can always be nagging you in the back of your mind, only adding more stress. The absolute WORST thing about mental exhaustion is that a lot of times it can physically exhaust you at the same time. I've yet to come across a time when I am mentally exhausted because I was physically exhausted

Toughness is the strength, or ability, to withstand adverse conditions. Mental work is toughest that's why no body can easily become IS officer.which require to study hard thus only mental stress is involve

There are certain mental techniques that help you cultivate an indomitable will, patience, and the ability to stay positive and focused no matter how bad things look. There are also certain training techniques you can use to condition your body to withstand discomfort and tolerate environments that would normally cause injury.

Rachel Cosgrove, co-owner of Results Fitness and a regular contributor to Men"s Fitness, stated in an article on mental toughness, "World-class endurance athletes respond to the stress of a race with a reduction in brain-wave activity that"s similar to meditation. The average person responds to race stress with an increase in brain-wave activity that borders on panic.

Another way to look at mental toughness is willpower. When everyone else has decided they are too tired, you decide to keep going. so mental work is always require which you have to do it for yourself nobody can do it for you.but you can take help of anyone while performing physical work.

Reasons for voting decision: FF. Well-constructed arguments by Pro, but without justification. Nonetheless, 4 points to Pro.
