A fun little challenge based debate. We are going to debate who is better at the art of debating.

Pro (me) debates why Con (you) is the better debater.
Con (you) debates why Pro (me) is the better debater.

Just thought it might be interesting to see who could debate better that the other is better at themselves.

Contradicting I know.

Rule: There is only one rule, you must of debated about something so I can use it as a reference. I have one completed debate in voting process and a few others that at least have me debating. (not just a acceptance and that's where it's at right now)

Con

This sounds interesting. I accept!

Thanks for accepting, May the best debater lose.

You made this opponent forfeit every round upon accepting it in round 1. If that doesn't say great debater I don't know what does.
http://debate.org...

Also, you use more creditable sources just briefing by some of your debates. I have lowered myself to use Wiki which many people feel it isn't that creditable.

(Just a start up to see what happens)

Con

The example of my debate with the user JoshuaC-F is invalid because based on his profile, he has not had much experience debating on this site and has shown a tendency to forfeit rounds outside of our debate. Therefor, this example has nothing to do with my debating ability.

Looking through your past debates, I see that you have used many other sources besides Wikipedia, an example being at http://debate.org...

So far, it looks like you have not lost a single debate on this site, while I, however, have lost five.
Debate Round No. 2

Pro

My opponent states.
Yes, I have not lost.
But, it's concluded guaranteed I will come to a defeat sooner than later.
Due to a lack of experience, if I lose this debate it proves it.

This concluding, experience is better than a couple wins.
(5-5-5) Might not be a better record than a promising (2-0-2) (the tied on my part are still in voting all of them)
(the five tied in my opponents column only one is still in voting period. Which the opponent forfeited each round)

This being said who is more likely to win in any competition, someone with more experience with successful debates or someone with little experience and a couple of wins.

I like pie.

Reasons for voting decision: Con has lost more debates, which would make him the lesser debater, but he threw the last round so I can't give him conduct. But... if he wins this debate that means he's better... which means I need to vote pro? But then pro would be better, so I'd need to vote con. Since this is a paradox I have no choice but to vote tie.

Reasons for voting decision: Conduct to Pro, the pie comment was stupid. However, this showed that Pro was a better debater.

Reasons for voting decision: Counter conduct... Con's use of "I like pie" was not only fair--but also a smart move. However, TD_Cole's lack of debating skill seemed far more authentic; basic grammatical errors and poor explanatory skills really sealed the deal for him. In other words, Pro was very convincing with his utter lack of ability.

Reasons for voting decision: Con stated "I like pie." This makes him look childish and would obviously make pro win. But the deabte is about who is a better debater. This proves that TD_Cole is better and proves con side. Convincing argument goes to con. Conduct to TD_cole because it was childish.

Reasons for voting decision: It's "You or me" not "You or I". So grammar goes to Con. Past records don't guarantee similar outcomes, so anyone can win. Pro had better conduct, since "I like pie" is childish.
