Con

The United States are much more wealthier than Russia. The U.S. planes have better radar, missiles, and electronic warfare equipment, while the Russian planes are judged to have superior handling and thrust-to-weight ratio, which would give them an edge in a classic dogfight. If you look down the list of military assets, the U.S. beats Russia in almost every category. So therefore the United States have the upper hand

Con

Okay.....Russia would most defiantly win the war between the USA and their self's. Russia would have more than double our tanks and they have more hydrogen bombs. Plus Obama is cutting our defense budget so that wouldn't help the USA either.

Look America is strong but Russia also makes more off war then America. You are looking at a country that has never been taken by another country. Napoleon tried taking Russia and failed, Hitler tried taking Russia and failed. Russia has never been defeated on its own turf. Without nukes it is a hard debate to hard as each country has its for and against. America has not really seen and such attacks on it except for when the British settled there and only through internal uprising that America was formed. Since then the only true attack on USA is Japans attack on Perl Harbor. It is only through USA's offensive power that gives it its strength. Russia on the other hand is a major Defensive strength, their forces within their country is like hitting a wall like all the other times. Showing stats is fine but in time of a great war conscription is to be taken into account. USA are proud people, but so are Russians. It would be a major stale mate.
