Who would win in a nuclear war? Russia or the United States of america

Harsher yes, more effective no.

First, one round is not a debate, it is just two people making different statements.

Second, there is no contest, there will be no war, America has a GDP of $13 trillion while Russia has a GDP of $1.3 trillion. WE ARE 10 times larger.

Third, While America has a fewer number of weapons, that is only because we ours are more effective.

America has 4,075 active and 5,400 total.
Russia has 5,162 active and 14,000 total.(1)

While Russia has a larger total number, only one in three is active due to the fact that they are broke and unable to maintain their arsenal. America has four out of five active and ready. Russia may have more, but the truck carrying them to the launch pad would probably break down and they would not be able to launch it.

Fourth, America has been buying nukes from Russia for years now and helping them dispose of them properly. In fact, America is building an interstate between the port of Savannah, GA to the Oak Ridge national laboratory in TN primarily for the purpose of transporting Russian nuclear warhead material to Oak Ridge to be recycled or destroyed.

If Russia can kick America's *** in a nuclear war, why are they selling us their arsenal as scrap? Because it is scrap.

Um define win. Win being "woo be just killed millions of people!"?...The resolution states "win" as an absolute yet I was very tempted to vote Con down ONLY because he typed "russia may win" which deemed the case not absolute.
