Hating doesn't work. Disagreeing is ineffective. Discouraging might not be the golden ticket either.

Times are changing, we are becoming more intelligent and developing a better understanding of the world. It's time to accept change and realize that not everybody is going to mold their lifestyle to fit your perfect world.

No, because it says that he who calls his BROTHER a fool is in danger of the fires of hell. You are neither a brother by family relation nor a brother in Christ. Also, Jesus Himself calls people fools when they talk as such. What I said was not a character attack, but more a reference to the way you are responding to me. You are talking like a foolish person talks. I do not know you personally, so I could make a character judgement if I wanted to.

This is not a contradiction, as it would appear. It is a dilemma. Verse 4 says that you cannot answer a fool in the way he speaks to you, because you will be a fool like him. however, you must answer him, because if you do not, he will "be wise in his own conceit.". It is simply saying that you cannot answer a fool according to his folly, because you will always lose.
