So, why was Roy removed from the Super Smash Bros. World/Series? I think it was very stupid for them to do that because Roy is pretty much my favorite character. I watched a Christmas Super Smash Bros. Brawl animation and the characters in Super Smash Bros. Brawl were inside giving each other presents. As for Roy, he was sitting out in the snow crying, which made me kind of emotional. (lol) Now that I think about it, why did they remove ANY characters from the Super Smash Bros. World? They should have kept the characters and just added more. They removed Dr. Mario, Mewtwo, Pichu, Roy, and Young Link. I can guess that they will be removing characters in the next Super Smash Bros. game because they did it for Super Smash Bros. Brawl. I hope if they remove ANY characters, they make it up by replacing them with new and better characters.
They were removed for many reasons, including business and popularity reasons. In the game after SSBB, some characters will be gone and new ones will take their place. That's just how the business works. Also, they got replacements. Roy became Ike, Pichu became Lucario/Pokemon Trainer, Dr.Mario got Wario, and Young Link got Toon Link. They just do this to advertise for other games and make them more popular. Finally, they did this to please most players because they saw more characters from their favorite games step up to battle.
Okay... ahem...my opponent forfeited, so...I don't know what to do. I've already made my needed points. So, I drew you a bear: (""\(O_O)/""). And also, a tip: Don't make your debate titles questions. It takes away the whole symbol of showing that it's a debate. Here's an example: instead of Why were Roy and the others removed from the Super Smash Bros. World/Series?, You could say: Roy and the others shouldn't have been removed from the Super Smash Bros. World/Series.
