I think so because let face it no one wants to die and people want to explore this vast universe when or before the earth either gets incinerated by the sun of is struck by a meteor. Also we will eventually find a hospitable planet to settle down.

(No) Of course people will want to go to space, but will they go? No. There's no possible way there can be an air craft large enough to hold every person in the planet. And I don't believe they would make any rounds either. It could take hundreds of years to get to another planet.

Of course not everyone will be on one spacecraft, though cruel many lives will have to be sacrificed to continue the human race if we can't fund it we will find other ways if our determination is strong enough, we will at least bring our ideals and such with us no
matter what.

P.S. Thank you for accepting my debate

Reasons for voting decision: When words are not defined, standard understanding of words applies. Since "people" was never defined, the standard understanding is implied. Con's rejection that not 100% of the people will go does not conflict with the resolution when the standard understanding of people is applied. Conduct is not awarded because both sides forfeited. No sources were used by either side and no depth was made for either arguments.
