There has been a lot of questions surrounding the possibility of whether or not the Government is going to repeal the 2nd Amendment to the U.S. Constitution. I personally had a friend who is still in the military the National Guard mind you say that his first Sgt. has been notified to prepare to send out orders for soldiers to go into citizens homes and confiscate weapons/firearms and ammunition. I was in the military for 6 years and the idea that a First Sgt. is telling his men "beware for these orders that may come." is a bad sign. The government has been trampling our rights as American citizens from what we used to have to almost nothing. The police state, dictatorship, tyrannical government we are now living in. So my question to you is: If the government decides to repeal the 2nd Amendment do you think there will be a 2nd American Revolution? Would you participate or would you stand idly by while our government becomes stronger and stronger, ripping away our God given rights that so many have bleed and died for.
" Even though The Constitution and The Bill Of Rights are pieces of paper with signatures on them, they are the only pieces of paper that every citizen has with this country that are most definitely not subject to re-negotiation, not by anyone ever! too many people have paid for this contract in blood."

i don't think there would be any revolution becoz most people don't understand the meaning of repealing the 2nd amendment: what they are going to lose. besides america, in a uni polar world and with such law as the patriot act in hand, is in a position to smash any revolution on its land as soon as possible.

That is the whole point that I am making. Our Government has become so powerful that The Constitution, The Bill of Rights has been cast to the wind. The Patriot Act, The possible repealing of the 2nd Amendment, The dollar no longer being the world reserve currency (soon), the government in particular the Department of Homeland Security buying 2 billion rounds of ammunition, FEMA seizing emergency food supplies good for 25 year stock life... things like this will push Americans over the edge and when that happens I think there will be a 2nd American Revolution. If the Fed tries to take my weapons I will not go down without a fight. There is a video on the chief of police from a major city in Wisconsin saying that he would disregard any executive order to go into peoples homes and take their weapons. That does not mean that it will not happen, and soon. It is a shame that the President of The United States and his "Executive Power" have the force of law... disregarding the Constitution, disregarding the checks and balances system, disregarding the people. Yes our government is powerful but... in 1776 we took down the most powerful empire in the world and gained our freedom... yes the government could quell a rebellion if it happened in short numbers but what if every single able bodied American stood up to the government? I'm talking veterans, mid-teens, young adults... what if the entire military decided to mutiny? Is the Fed government really gonna kill 64 Million people (and that is just adolescents). It is a very unlikely long shot that every person be that upset and willing to stand up to the government, it is sad as well. You are probably right on the point that a rebellion would be quelled but I do not think it would be stopped over night and when it is finally over there would hopefully be a new government in place of the people, by the people and for the people. I wish this was all just a bad nightmare but look at the statistics... every single hour of every single day we spend $200M we do not have and that is not even scratching the surface of the debt we owe... the American Revolution was mostly fought about taxation without representation, this one will be fought to sustain the right to bear arms and to exile a corrupt, self serving government that has betrayed every single person it swore to defend and break every single right that we have fought to keep.

right to bear arms in a country where gun violence in schools, homes are so frequent. your arms did not prevent 9/11 attacks nor it protected you from boston bombing, nor it protected you from oklahoma city bomber tim mcveigh, and there are many example i am not elaborating.

what guns bring in to your country ? massacre in schools, colleges etc. death in home , workplace. i think that this right to bear arms is out of date now. it was of value in those days when white americans were fighting british and native red indian tribes. now it is completely useless.

in a backward country like india we do not have much gun violence as america has now-a-days.

your govt. will rise against you? why? what your govt. will gain exploiting you?

there is no question of revolution.

Much ado about nothing. While it is unquestionable that the far left would love nothing more than to repeal the 2nd amendment, it will never happen. Repeal would require 3/4ths of the Senate, 3/4ths of the house, AND 3/4ths of the states to all be in agreement. Considering there are FAR more Conservative states than liberal ones, even the most liberal Congress could never get the 2nd amendment abolished. If there ever comes a time that 3/4ths of the country actually supported repealing the 2nd amendment, we will have a lot more problems than simply losing those rights...
