Pro

I am pro the resolution that WLC's formulation of KCA reversed works as a point to disprove the existence of God.

1. Whatever does not begin to exist does not have a cause.
2. God did not begin to exist.
3. Therefore, God has no cause.

If God never began to exist then there is no cause for the case of God's existence.

Con

P1 of the KCA states "what begins to exist has a cause." Pro's "reversal" is actually an inverse restatement, which cannot be inferred from the conditional.[1] An equivalent contrapositive would be "what does not have a cause does not begin to exist."

Moreover, even if we grant the validity of the premises, the conclusion "there is no cause for the case of God's existence" doesn't follow. as Leibniz observed, every existing thing has an explanation of its existence, either in the necessity of its own nature or in an external cause.[2] Because God is a necessary being, by definition his existence *must* be explained by his own nature.
