Women should be equal to men but they are treated unequally. For example, "Women are almost half of the workforce. They are the sole or co-breadwinner in half of American families with children. They receive more college and graduate degrees than men. Yet, on average, women continue to earn considerably less than men. In 2015, female full-time, year-round workers made only 80 cents for every dollar earned by men, a gender wage gap of 20 percent. Women, on average, earn less than men in nearly every single occupation for which there is sufficient earnings data for both men and women to calculate an earnings ratio. In middle-skill occupations, workers in jobs mainly done by women earn only 66 percent of workers in jobs mainly done by men" (Institute for Women"s Policy Research paragraph 1 and 2). This shows that women work a lot to earn for their families but aren"t paid the equal amount of money men doing the same job get.

I am a skeptic who denies Abrahamic influence. Buddhism is my best religion, which I almost follow. But I lack a belief in God and believe it cannot be proven.

For more information, I recommend going to Christina Hoff Sommers. She's better at this sort of thing than I am.

"They receive more college and graduate degrees than men."

What are these degrees in?
It is very important that we're given that information.

"Yet, on average, women continue to earn considerably less than men."

Yes.
Earnings.
Average.
Earnings, not wages.

"In 2015, female full-time, year-round workers made only 80 cents for every dollar earned by men, a gender wage gap of 20 percent."

This doesn't show unequal treatment. In the sector of medicine, women have been shown to go into lower paying areas in comparison to men.
This statistic has absolutely no control for the actual job.
You may as well be complaining about a lower school teacher and a heart surgeon getting different wages.

"Women, on average, earn less than men in nearly every single occupation for which there is sufficient earnings data for both men and women to calculate an earnings ratio."

Is everything there the same except for the sex?
Are the men and women working in the same exact job? For the same hours? For the same leave?

"In middle-skill occupations, workers in jobs mainly done by women earn only 66 percent of workers in jobs mainly done by men"

Link the source, please.

"This shows that women work a lot to earn for their families but aren"t paid the equal amount of money men doing the same job get."

It is illegal to pay women less than men for the same work.
If anyone is, they have grounds to sue.
