For this debate, what is "Ought" is the option that yields the most net benefits.
The Pro will argue that Requiring women to register for the draft (just as men do) will yield higher net benefits, then not requiring them to do so.
The Con will argue that the status quo has higher net benefits than the action proposed by the resolution.
I will argue that men or women should not be drafted in the first place. My argument will be based off of many factors.
Including the necessity for a drafting system and freedom of will.
The rules of this debate have been compromised. The Con and I have decided to do a new Debate under the title "The Draft Ought to be Abolished" in which I will be con.
