It just couldn't happen. Disregarding all the physical stuff money is the biggest issue.
If you women got your. Own league it will fail quick. You will not be able to find a channel that is known to broadcast it. The commentators will be out of the dirt. Quality will be bad. And very important. Marketing. You wouldn't get any endorsments. The WNBA had gone through many ups and downs. But now they go pretty strong but they only get about 1\3 of the profits the NBA does. Your audience will be very low.
The NFL is the most profitable sports in America. A women's league would be under too much pressure to succeed.
Now to the won getting into the NFL. It wouldn't happen. First it will be a player, coach a and team issue as in their focus will be distracted to women not trying to hit them. Worrying about where they are and their mind will just be distracted in general. Then it becomes. An owner and manager issue. The owners take a big part in approving rules and what to do with the NFL. The majority will not want an women on their team because. Of the distraction. Also they can't be in the same locker room as. Men. They wouldn't want. That to happen. Connecting this with he Jonathan martin and incognito investigation of bullying and what opens in the locker room. And now the Michael Sam announcement of being gay. Its funny because if the NFL really isn't ready for a gay player what is your chance of women playing in the NFL? Now this also becomes an political issue. There are laws being made to keep any aggressive nature towards women from men. Men are supposed to protect women a and keep them safe but yet now some women want. To get hit. No politicians will not let that happen even if it is a sport with a women in it. It will be too big for politics too handle needless to say NFL. I have more too say but I will let any competitor get a chance

I will take the liberty to ignore the physical side of the argument as you have and focus upon the points you have identified.
The assumption that the a football league for woman would fail is based upon the premise that the team would be unable to control themselves and focus upon the football game. This is quite untrue, for example, even when people are teenagers with testosterone coursing through their body the most determined and the ones that see a clear benefit of school are able to focus. When a student in class realises how important it will be to them they are not rendered absolutely immobile by having women on a team. That is the first thing, people do not and will not be controlled by urges such as this when they are under extreme pressure like in the NFL when they make lots of money and will be judged and criticized at all times if they make a mistake. They also will not hesitate at least after a short time to treat a woman like a man in games as many justifications can and will go to the player ie. 'She signed up for it' or 'She is ready for me to charge into her'. Most likely those women will not be significantly weaker than the men and will have gone through regimes of fitness equal or very close to them meaning that they are a significant threat to them in the game. This will likely translate into ignoring the problems with her being a woman as she will not be perceived as 'weak'.
As for the locker room problem I agree with that problem but the 'pep talks' and 'rallies' that are often associated with that room could easily occur in a small room next door when they had just changed or in that room before they changed. There is no need for the air of a locker room to give those pep talks and it might be better in terms of smell.
As for not having gay players and therefore women, the problem most people voice is that homophobic people is that they consider it 'unnatural' which will not be a problem for female players. The public did not see the person act in a 'camp' manner which shows that that was not the problem but the realization that he liked men. The camp attitude which is often associated with women and homo-sexual people was not in this scenario.
On your reasonably sexist point about having men need to protect women, women's rights are primarily upon the topic of making women equal with men. This is a cause I'm sure you will agree with. Assuming men must protect women assumes that women are not equal to men. This type of thinking is what that cause attempts to avoid. In a society such as this where women are becoming more and more powerful and actually obtaining more and more jobs it is not a maddening idea that in the near future women will not be considered not able to protect themselves like you have assumed. Referring to some of my previous points the women will likely have been made very strong and will be more than prepared to be hit.
Politicians will not have any input into the matter either as it is not a large or important political concern in the slightest and they would not risk going into petty matters such as NFL football which although may seem important is not as important as it may seem. If politicians did dare go making statements saying women needed to be protected they would receive unbelievable criticism and accusations of sexism. Also, have politicians ever become part of matters withing the NFL unless their side or point was obviously going to be popular with people and have they ever stated things to do with the NFL which were not inevitable going to come true?
Finally, in terms of economics as you previously mentioned if women joined into the NFL and made it a multiple sex team wouldn't that mean they would get even more viewers from the old leagues? Would that not mean that they would get even more viewers from obsessive sport fans wishing to have something in common and most likely as girls have representatives will have girls being cultivated and interested in those sports likely to the frenzy that many men are at this level. It is not such an incredulous concept. So most likely the NFL possibly after a little controversy but unlikely loss of money or viewers as no one will wish to forsake their favorite football league and when there is a very slight dip for a temporary time it will be negligible in comparison to the amount of new viewers watching, do you not agree that women could play in the NFL?

@Jifpop09 I didn't take the debate because it was interesting, my point is exactly as you said. I just needed a debate to start me off, I saw this debate a load of times and thought it was quite stupid.

Stupid debate. The role of men protecting women is over. Women can take care of themselves. They are as capable as men. Anyways, women already play football, and politicians don't care.
