As those gentlemen who are regularly out on the pull in the pubs and clubs of Britain will readily testify, there is an increasingly desperate shortage of attractive women to choose from in this country.

Yes, there are a few girls with attractive personalities (which is very important of course), but you would have a hard job finding one that didn't also have a dirty great toilet on her.

For those of you lucky enough to live in countries where most girls do not fall into the category of "fat slags", here's a typical assortment of the sort of foul-mouthed munters the average Saturday night offers English gentlemen out on the lash:

http://farm1.static.flickr.com...
http://www.bbc.co.uk...
http://www.cupcakepdx.com...

Now, contrast that with the sort of Asian babes a man about town in the Far East gets to choose from:

http://a66.ac-images.myspacecdn.com...
http://photos-897.friendster.com...

So, when it comes to the dash for gash, most British blokes are obliged to either accept some third rate tart or go home empty handed. But why us and not Japanese, Korean or Chinese guys?

That's because British women's average weight has increased dramatically over recent years.

http://www.esrc.ac.uk...

So what is the Government doing about it? Well, they have implemented a cross-department strategy to tackle obesity, but as the figures show, it has failed. Miserably.

http://www.dh.gov.uk...

But wait, my totty-deprived British chums, do not despair! I have the solution, and here it is:

Since most girls spend a great deal of time reading fashion magazines and waste a hell of a lot of money shopping for clothes, it would be fair to conclude that fashionable clothes are important to them, right?

So why not ban the manufacture for sale of all dresses over UK size 12 (UK) / 40 (EU) / 10 (US) and make the overweight women wear either old dresses, homemade dresses or coal sacks with holes cut into them for the neck and arms?

That would provide a real incentive for girls to shed the pounds and thus provide British men with a decent selection of nice, fit birds to choose from on a Saturday night.

I can't see how there could be any objection to this proposal, but since the Government hasn't already adopted it, I assume there must be some flaw in the plan that I have missed. Perhaps my opponent can spot something?

1. The photo examples that my opponent gave are random photographs of British women and Asian women and are arbituary as proven by these.

These are far from fat slags
http://bp1.blogger.com...
http://farm1.static.flickr.com...
http://www.ibiza-voice.com...

Asians that I wouldn't bang
http://jokes.m3rlin.org...
http://media3.guzer.com...
http://www.starling-fitness.com...

2. Far East Asian countries have just as many if not even more overweight/obese women as the UK which further supports my first argument that men in both parts of the world have equal pools of women to choose from and that my opponents photos where just extreme examples that are far from the norm.

http://english.chosun.com...
http://www.tehrantimes.com...

3. My opponent's www.dh.gov.uk evidence is irrelevant to the round. It says nowhere in that piece of evidence that the UK government is failing miserably in its attempts to curb obesity in UK women.

I however, provide clear evidence that specifically states that the UK government is on the right track for fighting obesity in the UK through changing its views on urban planning and restructuring

http://www.timesonline.co.uk...

4. The plan has major flaws.

a. If a law where passed to limit dress sizes, then all of the overweight women would simply just squeeze themselves into a dress that is the largest size available to them. (In the case of my opponents propsition, a size 12uk) Their extremely tight outfits would cause their rolls of fat to spill over the top of their dress. Also, every dress worn by a fatty would automatically become a sleevless dress due to the sleeves either tearing or being pushed all the way up the shoulder due to large arm circumference, which would in turn, force surrounding males to have to look at all of their jiggly arm fat that grotesquely hangs under their arms whenever they wave at someone or move their hands above their head to the music. (but only for a little while of course because I assume they would tire quickly.) Thus the plan would have the opposite affect as intended. Instead of causing men to see more hot dames in the clubs, they will just see more fatties (or at least more OF them)

b. There is nothing in my opponent's plan that would prevent these fatties from buying a fashionable dress over the internet. There are a lot of major high fashion designers in places other than the uk. (such as New York, Los Angeles, Milan, Madrid, Tokyo, etc. The UK government obviously has no jurisdiction over other countries, so these fat slags could easily buy a high fashion designer dress in their (double digit) size that is made in another country via internet and wear them out to clubs in the UK. Thus such a law would provide no incentive whatsoever for weight loss since designer dresses in large sizes would still be available.

c. Furthermore, my opponent provided no actual evidence that the majority of overweight women in the UK care about fashion. All he did was ASSUME that women like to read fashion magazines and spend a lot of money on clothes and had no actual evidence to back those assumptions up with. Furthermore, If you look at the pictures that my opponent provided, you will notice that none of the fat slags in those photos are dressed fashionably, which would in turn make it fair to conclude that fat chicks in the UK don't care about high fashion and dressing fashionably. Therefore if the fat women dont care, there is no incentive for them to lose weight. This alone should cause you to vote for Con (against) because there is only one piece of evidence in the round that is relevant to the argument of women caring about fashion. This piece of evidence is my opponent's photos which clearly support my argument that fat women in the UK don't care about buying and wearing fashionable dresses. Therefore, you must give my arguments full weight in the round because I have solid evidence to back up my arguments where as my opponent merely states random arguments with nothing to back them up.

The above reasons are all factors to why the UK government hasn't and won't ever adopt such a law. Like the UK government, you as well, should reject my opponent's proposal by voting for con/against.

I would like to thank my opponent for his intelligent and insightful critique of my plan to improve the quality of Britain's knocking stock by restricting the sale of outsized dresses.

I will be the first to admit that, as my opponent pointed out, my plan is unlikely to be 100% effective. Of course I realise that some girls will obtain illicit garments from fat-fillies-in-fashionable-frocks.com or whatever, but it's like people-trafficking teenage girls into the country and selling them on to the sex trade, no laws will ever be prevent it completely but that doesn't mean that it should be legal.

I also realise that not all English girls are heavy-treaders and occasionally one meets a gravitationally challenged Asian girl, and my thanks go to my opponent for the photos he provided to illustrate this. Clearly he has researched this topic thoroughly and conscientiously and I congratulate him for that. However, I should like to make the following observations.

http://bp1.blogger.com...
The one on the right's not bad, but I don't fancy his one much.

http://farm1.static.flickr.com...
Again, I'll take the one on the right – my opponent can have her mum.

http://www.ibiza-voice.com...
Don't be deceived. My opponent is trying to stitch me up with this one, ladies and gentlemen. This photo doesn't prove anything because it was taken in a GAY bar. How do I know? Well, just look at it - two cracking birds lezzing it up right in front of a big crowd of blokes and not one of them is taking a blind bit of notice. I mean, a fantastic bit of stuff has got her jugs out and a blonde stunner has got a hold of them and is giving them a good mashing but all the guys in the background just carry on chatting about knitting or washing powder or whatever. Now that's not normal behaviour, is it boys and girls?

http://jokes.m3rlin.org...
Is she Asian? Anyway, she would be too old even if she did cut down on the family-sized buckets of fried chicken.

http://media3.guzer.com...
Again, not sure she's Asian either. She doesn't look it and, furthermore, Asian parents are normally very keen not to "lose face" and they wouldn't let their daughters go out in public looking like that.

http://www.starling-fitness.com...
For some reason I couldn't open this link, but I went to Margaret Cho's website to see what she looks like.

http://www.margaretcho.com...
I mean, she's not absolutely hideous is she? Be honest, gentlemen, we've all had worse at one time or another, haven't we? You remember that night you drank your age in pints and the next morning contemplated chewing your own arm off rather than wake the ugly, fat slapper lying next to you, don't you?

Moving on, my opponent questioned the seriousness of the problem British men have finding quality muff these days and even doubted the credibility of my sources. In order to convince you, I will produce the following evidence:

According to research published in the Times, 97% of British women agree that size 12 (US size 10) is fat and given that average size is 16 (US size 14) that means that most British women are fat.

http://women.timesonline.co.uk...

And what's more, the problem has just been getting worse and worse. A generation ago, the average British woman's waist measured 27 inches. Now the average is a whopping 34 inches. And guess what - there's no compensation anywhere else – the average bust measurement has hardly changed.

http://news.bbc.co.uk...

My opponent's final argument was that British women must not even care about fashion because they are all dressed so badly. They are dressed badly, that's true, but that's not because they are not interested in fashion, it is because they've got no style. And anyway, it's impossible for fat girls to look nice, no matter what they wear.

So there we have it. I know my plan won't solve the problem completely and may lead to some ugly scenes as oversized girls spill out of dresses that are too small for them (as my opponent predicted) but something has to be done. Decent, hardworking British men should not have to accept sub-prime totty – our father's generation didn't have to so why should we?

So, British blokes, vote Pro – you know it makes sense. And foreign geezers should vote Pro as well because if you don't, a whole load of British punters will come over to your manor and take all your fit birds!

Thank you.
