Tampons cause TSS (Toxic Shock Syndrome), which many unsuspecting women are forced to endure every year. There is a much safer alternative: sanitary towels. Some women are unaware of the health risks of using tampons, whilst many others are ignorant to the maximum time period tampons should be used for. To save the suffering of women, the time of doctors and the money in the health fund, tampons should be removed from shops and production ended. Many women are also tricked into thinking that tampons are completely safe, and the chances of TSS are so low, they should be ignored. This is not the case. To save our women from TSS, we must end the use of tampons.

Give me proof that tampons are bad. I want an actual website link. Otherwise your point goes unproven. It's like me saying that tampons give women magic powers. It's un proven.

These are a few of the many sites that mention the dangers of using a tampon and raise awareness of TSS caused by them. This should be enough evidence to prove that the risks off tampons and TSS are indeed real and dangerous.

Ok two of them are stating how the disease works, and the other one says it's a a 1in three million chance of this happening. There is a one in 3 millions chance, that is not a good reason to ban tampons. Should we ban all these?

Toxic Shock Syndrome is not only rare, but mostly anyone who uses one is aware of it's possible consequences. This is just as bad as the risk you have for driving. You could die or get hurt, but chances are, you won't. Should that stop you form driving? No.
