Zoos have been considered as places of educational interest by many. But very few realize the harm it does to the animals held in captivity. The animals are shut out from their natural environment and are forced to live a artificial life separated from their kith and kin. The animals are caged and it is on the lines of animal cruelty. Hence I propose, Zoos do more harm than good.

Thank you.

Yes, they are but zoos help animals survive and stop them from going in stink.

Pro

Not all animals live longer in the zoos than in the wild. Animals are made to live in an artificial habitat . They are stripped off their natural instincts and made to lead a tamed life enclosed inside four walls. there has been a study that animals like the majestic elephants of the wild lived almost twice as long as their counterparts in the zoos.
