belief in science=religion

if theism = belief, then pathy = denotes feeling
if apathy = indifference then atheism = lack of belief

if typical = having distinctive qualities of a paticular type or thing, then atypical = not representative of a type or thing

thus atheism does not equal belief, it denotes the absence of belief

use of the letter a as a prefix expresses the absence of something. (from greek)

Atheism is a lack of belief. It's apathy to others beliefs, not opposition. Either way though, you don't "believe" in science. Science is an ever-changing system that completely follows the rules and regulations we've come to find reality has established. You don't have to trust science because anyone with a brain knows that science is a search for truth, not a blind declaration of it, on belief required. Your argument is like saying a belief in 1976 Mustangs is a religion.
