cell phones should be allowed in schools because it allows kids to use valuable skills such as: multitasking, planning, and taking notes. schools allowing cell phones would cut back on the schools budget because the school wouldnt have to supply planners and notebooks for students because they already have a device that they take everywhere that has the planner and notes inside a saved file on the phone. cell phones are vary halpful because they allow you to set alarms, look things uo on the internet, and give you reminders. cell phones would cut back on the time asking teachers questions because the students would be allowed to look the thing up on the internet with out having to bother the teacher. and if studentes were allowed to use phones in class they wouldnt be worried about trying to be snaeky about hiding their phone from the teacher as they turn their back. the student would simply just look something up and they pay attention to the teacher, instead of trying yo hide the phone from the teacher and worring about when they are going to turn around instead of listening to the lecture.

While some students might put their cell phones to good uses, there will be a majority of people who will take this to their advantage and use it to satisfy their own personal needs instead of using to assist them in their lesson. If students were allowed to use their cell phones when they please, they will most likely do whatever they wish instead of paying attention to the lesson, especially the people who don't take their education as serisously as others. They would most likely want to start texting their friends, take photos, watch videos, or access their accounts and Facebook or Myspace while lying, saying that they are using it to assist them. Also, many students do not or not allowed to access the internet on their phones for multiple amount of reasons such as internet on cell phones can be too pricey for many families to afford, families do not want their children to access the internet to try and protect them, etc.

Again, while many of these notes and planners are nice to use on a phone, many phones won't actually have these apps in the first place so the student cannot use them.

Trying to use your phone to find answers to problems will not work. The internet holds many facts and answers that are not always true or are irrelvant to the subject. Besides, it's a teacher's job to help the students when they need it, not a cell phone.

Yes, students use their cell phones to sneak messages to their friends, but imagine if phones were allowed. Now the student could easily text their friends and not worry about their phone being taken away, ignoring the lesson completely.
