Good evening. I am going to speak from the affirmative side of this debate, debating on the topic of "Can Women be Leaders?"

Now, it comes down to what type of leaders you mean. The opposing side has neglected the other types of leaderships (even simple ones), and has argued that women can be subjective towards several punishments. This is NOT true. You have probably based this on your personal experience in the past with women before, seeing their subjective acts, but NO, women do NOT always decide for something subjectively. Now, the opposing side has also stated that women should take care of the children, while the father works for the family. Even though this is the case in real life, this does NOT mean that this idea should be implemented to every family.
The motion is talking about women being able to be a leader, NOT if women can work or have jobs. Both are two different things that should be debated separately.
First off, if you say that women in general cannot make up for a leader, then that's just being against the female race basically. Are you trying to say that ALL women CANNOT be a leader? Even though there has been a history of FEMALE PRESIDENTS, the opposing side still has the audacity to say that "No, women cannot be leaders. They should be at home taking care of the children and supporting their husbands, making dinner and such." It is UNBELIEVABLE to me.
The reason you don't see a lot of female presidents and leaders today is because of institutional bias AND the fact that people also favor men a lot. You might say that men are generally better at being a leader, but this is NOT the case. In-fact, it is debatable that females can actually be BETTER than males at leadership.

I am not trying to support the point of women being better leaders than men, but I am saying that women CAN be leaders, as the opposing side seems to neglect.

Yes, women can be leaders. Women and men are just different genders. They do not have much of a difference overall in general. Women can be just as good as men at the leadership role.
