I am arguing that cyclists ON THE ROAD should have to wear helmets and reflectors at least ON THE BIKE.
Anti-atheist

Con

freedom! THEY can do what they want.

If that is your stance, then surely anyone using the road can do as they wish. Motorcyclists shouldn't have to wear helmets if they don't want to? Car drivers shouldn't wear seat belts? why is it the case that cyclists (speaking as a road cyclist myself) can do as they wish? I am not suggesting something outrageous....just simple safety devices that all safe road going cyclists use anyway.

Con

Yes people should be able to do those things freely without restrictions! Should we watch over adults in there homes with cameras to make sure there safe?

This is not a question of privacy, it is one of safety. If you truly feel that people shouldn't have to wear seat belts if they don't won't to, and similarly with motorcyclists; shouldn't have to wear helmets. I think the voting shall be rather predictable. Do you think the small hassle of putting on a seat belt and wearing a helmet out ways the life saving benefits of them?
Anti-atheist

Con

Yeah the cameras aren't for security but to make sure no one gets hurt! There hasn't been a good reason given to force people to wear something on the heads. It's their choice! Who are you to reject them?

Reasons for voting decision: Con was out in left field in the round #2 argument. I would have liked to see more sources from both sides. Great debate!

Reasons for voting decision: Pro's point of safety was never properly refuted, and spelling and grammar to Pro because of Con's errors, such as the wrong use of the word "there".
